Between 1950 and 1990, 91 rose varieties were cultivated here. Germany’s only rose grower, Anni Berger, worked in Bad Langensalza. Amongst rose lovers, our Rose Garden is handled as one of the most beautiful ones in Germany. This can further be seen in the 2002 awarded title as ‘City of Roses’.
